Gandia, 9 de març 2020.- El coordinador general d’Economia i Hisenda, Salvador Gregori, ha comparegut aquest matí en roda de premsa per informar que ja ha estat aprovada la liquidació del pressupost de l’any 2020.
Tal com ha explicat Gregori, el resultat de la liquidació constata que el romanent de tresoreria és de 8,5 milions d’euros en positiu i que el resultat pressupostari és de 12,6 milions d’euros.
«Amb aquests resultats podem afrontar noves iniciatives i despeses extraordinàries que no estiguen previstos en el pressupost» va declarar l’edil qui també va posar en valor que les dades referents a estabilitat pressupostària són positives i que es compleix la regla de despesa. Tot això mentre el Període Mitjà de Pagament del consistori es troba en 16,9 dies, molt per baix del que marca la llei.
Després d’informar de les dades, Gregori ha declarat que tot i que l’any passat va ser «molt dur a causa de la pandèmia» hem pogut acabar l’exercici en positiu. «Vam suspendre taxes per ajudar a empreses i a la ciutadania a suportar la situació excepcional provocada per la COVID-19 i vam haver d’incrementar notablement la despesa en partides com Sanitat o Serveis Socials. També vam posar en marxa línies d’ajuts perquè ningú es quedés enrere» «Malgrat aquests factors, el bon comportament i la responsabilitat de totes les regidories ha permés ser on som hui«.
La liquidació del pressupost de l’any 2020 torna a ser positiva.
