Como consecuencia de la crisis sanitaria, el Ayuntamiento de Simat Valldigna amplio la supresión de costes para la hostelería durante el 2021, debido a la ocupación de mesas y sillas en la vía publica.
La decisión fue aprobada aprobada en la sesión plenaria del 8 de junio de 2020. Y la tasa también fue cancelada este mismo año, sumándose con otras medidas tomadas por el Ayuntamiento.
Tiene como objetivo apoyar a uno de los sectores más afectados por la pandemia. Como la publicidad de cada negocio a través de las redes sociales o la distribución de gel hidroalcohólico y mascarillas en cada negocio.
El alcalde Víctor Mansanet señaló: “El objetivo es ayudar a este importante departamento del municipio que ha sido golpeado fuertemente por la pandemia”.
